Dresses, dresses, dresses...

More dresses! I have neglected taking pictures lately! But here are a few that I did take.
This dress was made from sequined lace. It was the most beautiful fabric I have ever worked with! My daughter Leslie, wore this the night we went to see "Wicked" at the Smith Center.

These next two dresses were for sister's of the bride.

(Please over look the shoes in the corner)

This is a picture of the original dress for the Homecoming dance. The girl wanted a less formal and younger looking. I cut it off short and added stretch jersey to make the sleeves over the shoulder as you can see in the second picture.

Quilts

I was introduced to quilting by my daughter, Melissa. I wasn't sure it was something I wanted to do, but once bit I was hooked. Here are a few of the quilts I have made:

Santa's done in Redwork

Baby Quilt

My granddaughter loves the fuzzy Sheep!

Queen size pinwheel quilt

Another quilt for another granddaughter

In case you can't tell...I love pinwheels. My daughter
made this pattern and I loved it, so I had to copy it.

I love the look of these zig zag quilts
I made this one and donated it for an auction.

This one was also a gift. It was
hard to give away because it was so me
and would have fit in my house perfectly!

I learned something new on this quilt.
I learned how to use my embroidery
machine to do the quilt designs.

This was my first quilt. I love the colors and design,
but I learned a hard lesson. Make sure if you hire someone to quilt it for you,
that you see their work first. She did a very sloppy job on it!

This one was for our grandson.
The ducks are hand appliqued onto the quilt top and
the first quilt that I did machine quilting on.

Another granddaughter quilt

Boy baby quilt

I forgot to take pictures of this one after I quilted it. This is the first one I have made without a pattern. I just played with the triangles till I figured it out.

This baby girl quilt is for our yet to be born granddaughter. The lighting is bad in this picture, the flowers on the lower half are pink fleece, it has a white boarder and pink binding.
